My driver is too new?? o_O

I go to install the game it goes to the direct X install and then when it comes to the NVIDIA PhysX install it say's: The currently installed version of the drivers is newer than what you are trying to install, aborting the installation. please some one help D:

Amnesia installed DirectX? It's running on OpenGL, so it doesn't come with a DX setup, even not supporting PhysX.
But as the error message shows, it's not needed to install that, because your current version is already newer.

DirectX is sometimes needed for some .dll files used for controller support. But there are no physx or directx setups after the game installation. You are doing these manually I guess. Either way, check Question 3 HERE on how to make a clean reinstallation of your Nvidia drivers.
