There won't be any requests here. There was a separate thread about that, which was closed when the requests period was over. This topic is for reporting bugs and testing the update before it's out. Let's keep it on-topic guys! | |

Quick question, might be way too much to ask, but will there be any fixes to normal mapping?
It's currently, well really bad.
I'm fully aware that requests are closed, but as far as I'm concerned this definately bug-worthy! X3

Comparison.

SHET MAN! It's awesome, and somewhat unnerving. If you don't mind I'll just get a very large knife, and maybe fire up the ovens x3

That's way beyond the scope of the update, sorry. Cool monster though. | |

@Traggey, seems like normals and height maps are working quite fine, but without fully functional displacement, engine just can't handle or simply show up the volume, displacement volume. Well, that's just my guess. Another one version, probably simply outdated lights and shadows technology does not allows to show the beauty of normals and height maps, made properly, not f**king generated.
P.S. Offtop. Your beast reminds my own quite old concept, visual idea of the monster made of cow stomach. Not really "made of", a cow stomach was just an inspiration. Very fat ugly crawling jelly with a very specific cow stomach skin relief, resembling a corral, covered with slime. Without legs, boneless, with strange small appendages, hinting at the guts. I've never finished that concept, sketch. But a cow stomach very specific skin relief, resembling a corral, is still disturbs my dreams and imagination.

Thanks guys, I had something like a merge between a chicken and a headcrab in mind whilst making this, really speedily made in about an hour and a half or so.
 ANYPOOPS.
