Seems curious to me, though it doesn't technically affect gameplay. Whenever I exit out of the game it sends me a crash report. It only does this once exiting, so it is when I no longer want to play anyway but I am concerned there is a larger issue that may get worse if nothing is done. Here is the crash exception reason.

aamfp.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in module ig7icd32.dll at 0023:008872B9A, DrvSetLayerPaletteEntries()+1463722 bytes(s)

Again, happens every time I exit the game. Not sure what I would need to do to fix it... is it just a layer or texture issue?

The crash occurs due to bad Intel HD graphics drivers. Make sure you have installed the latest Intel HD drivers using the Have Disk Method as mentioned at the graphics card troubleshooting guide. As there seems to be a corrupted installation, even if you do have the latest version, make sure you reinstall the driver using the method mentioned above.

I have an Intel Core I-5-3317U @ 1.7 GHz... What generation and what HD graphics is it. The computer doesn't tell me.

My computer told me the driver was not valid for this computer. Does it make a different if I am using the Surface 1 Pro?

Probably, make sure you have downloaded the correct cpu architecture (x86 or x64) driver. Also, Amnesia does not support touchscreen devices.

I verified that my system needed the x64 driver. The game works, I am able to control Daniel well enough using the type cover, so gameplay is not an issue. I was just hoping the crash report would go away. It is the only game on my system that has that error. Thank you for your help.

My previous knowledge was that Amnesia crashes immediately when launched on touchscreen devices. It seems some MS general fixes, driver optimizations etc has made it possible to at least run the game. Other than that, I cannot provide any more support on touchscreen devices and Intel graphics which are both not supported normally.
