Help!!! MAP FILE CORRUPTED,

The map "level12_mental_realm.dae" I think that's the one where you unlock the double door with the head and hand! because my computer crashed or got stuck, just when I was playing in that map, and now when I go trough that door, the game crashes saying! map file has been corrupted! I don't want to re install the game again and start int he beginning pls! can you guys give me that map file pls, from penumbra black plague and go in maps an find "level12_mental_realm.dae" pls I beg you!! thanks and add an attachment with the map file

If you reinstall the game you won't lose any save progress. Go ahead and reinstall it.

I'm not sure if I believe you because one time I re installed penumbra and I lost all of my save files

The save files & settings are stored at Documents. The game installs at a completely different directory. You can trust what I'm saying. If you still feel uncertain, you can always keep a backup of the Penumbra folder related to the game you are playing at Documents.

I reinstalled it and the save files are still in the penumbra saves file, phew! but when I go in that map again in the game, it still crashes

Check the troubleshooting guide and provide us with the required info/files mentioned at Problem X.

I was a bit confused what this was about because I haven't played Penumbra yet.

Originally it was at the correct forum. Some other mod moved it to the wrong place. Anyway, moved again.
