The reputation system is there to evaluate a user, not be part of a game. Otherwise, the reps are fake and the system is exploited.

literally all rep points show are how many funny videos you have posted in this thread/how many scripts from the wiki you've copy pasta'd into the dev support section they're so meaningless

you should evaluate how good of a user someone is by actually reading their posts and judging them yourself instead of basing your judgement off some meaningless number

I believe this goes only for some of us that hang out in offtopic all the time. I shiver everytime i see "OH HEY I GOT 99 REP POINTS" followed by "HERE TAKE MINE, NOW YOU HAVE 100" While most of the other people that don't hang out in the offtopic have their rep points well earned and deserved.
