Last weekend I was at a bookstore with my mom, and I saw a book entitled "Wisdom" and on the cover it had a picture of Fred Phelps [Father of Westboro Baptist Church] with a smile on his face.

Turns out it was actually Clint Eastwood on that cover.

Today I browsed Amnesia's Moddb page and I thought about an old CS that was in development called "The Hidden". I tried searching for it on both moddb and the forum but no results turned up. I know that it had a moddb page at least so does anyone know what happened to it?

tbh that story was like the number 1 inspiration for me like 2/2.5 years ago just from the screenshots/videos/etc

no one has been beaten harassed and forced to live in secrecy and fear for being straight. if some queer 13 year old thats part of the gaming community (which is one of the worst places to discover your identity) sees it and feels more accepted and like they shouldn't be ashamed of themselves then thats great

though in the grand scheme of things of course it really doesn't change much but i want you to seriously consider what kind of mindset you're looking at this with if you think that something that could potentially make someone feel more accepted and otherwise would go unnoticed and not change much is actually a bad thing

thats kind of silly then but if it actually is that well known then theres a pretty good chance it could actually raise a descent amount of money. im not saying that its necessarily deserving of the attention, but given that it has it its cool that they might actually be able to make enough money off it that it could actually potentially help somewhere
