RE: Random Stuff: "Damn Korea, Back At It Again With The Spambots." Edition

I know using Terminal is a big part of Linux, and I don't necessarily mind that personally, but if I were to make a distro myself, I'd sway away from that as much as possible. I'm sure the black box is what scares most people away from Linux. I really just want Linux to become more widely used, especially since Windows 10 came out.

Anyways, now I should be able to write a Linux version of my Modloader app. Another reason I got it to begin with was server hosting, because I do that a lot. Should be fun.

PS: Any other Linux users here?
Ubuntu user here, although I've not used it since 2014. I think I'll install a new distro when I get my new PC this fall. But I doubt it'll be Ubuntu. (I hate the new Unity inteface)

My windows was broken for some time and I didn't have a copy of it since it was pre-installed on my PC, I didn't want to pirate it either, so I was forced to use Ubuntu for some time (I think it was 14.10?). I remember it as a sweet system, although I've ran into a vast amount of issues with it; I couldn't get the sound to work, my graphics card drivers kept failing all the time, thus urging me to reinstall/update them almost twice a week, and many Terminal commands seemed to just be broken. Perhaps it was something with the installation, but apart from those aforementioned problems, I think Linux is a very promising platform I might pick as my primary OS very soon due to Microsoft being assholes.

Sorry but we cannot change your avatar as the new avatar you specified is too big. The maximum dimensions are 80x80 (width x height)

Seeing our Penumbra buddy there makes me wonder if the site logo will ever change.
