Help, how to get water monsters despawn or glitch?

This is my first time playing and i hardly can get through the water monsters.

Jump on boxes, pull lever, jump on boxes, go through gate, jump on boxes, throw body parts as a distraction, spin the wheel, go through gate, open door, pick up hollow needle on the shelves to your right, unlock door with needle.

Part 2: Run, open door, run, open door.

The game is supposted to be scary and a little hard at the time.
We can't really tell what to do to glitch the game, but we can help you go trough with words..
The best thing to do is NOT look backwords, and run\jump at the same time.
That should do the trick, IF you feel scared with the sound ON, turn it off it ruines the atmposphere but makes it better to play some scary parts

You can also kill the blighters by throwing heavy objects directly at them (boxes, crates etc.) and if you see yellow water appear then it's dead and it shouldn't bother you any more

You can't kill the monsters in Amnesia, lol. That's the point.

Waterlurkers can be killed actually.

Which, once you figure it out, makes them pretty much there for the shock factor

black plague is scarier than amnesia i keep flinching when i see the alien with the flashlight finds me across the hallway and i hav to run away. i opened a door and the alien was on the other side of the door and ran at me. when i see a brute and a grunt i never flinch and its never scary. it doesnt tell u if ur spoted by the alien with the static music since i turned around and the alien hit me with the axe.

yeah, Black Plague is more more realistic than Amnesia and the NPC monsters are smarter.
