But there might be a chance the pewdiepie-fest(II) era and the pony-craze era(II) can begin again, or maybe in the future, there will be a bunch of annoying little kids ruining the forums and the forum will be flooded by annoying little kids, and only some teens and adults will join(Wich will never happen).

Or in the future, there will be a bunch of trolls flooding the forums.

I love calling it era's.

If PewDiePie decided to rev up Amnesia again or another Skashi decide to put Amnpony then those eras probably won't come up again.

Oh god the Pewdiepie era, horrible times. Thread after thread with jumpscare fests and about how bad jumpscares are and users with such bad grammar you wondered how they even wrote the so called code for their mods.

I also remember a certain user who doesn't frequent these here parts anymore who was extremely keen on making threads about how awful modern games are in his opinion, Call of Duty in particular. Interesting debates in the beginning but after a while it just turned into a shitstorm.
This thread brings back a lot of memories. It's fun to be able to look back at my time here even though I've certanly not been a very active user.

The pewdiepie era was really bad, everyone basically just copy pasted their code from other mods/the main game/tutorials and very rarely was there anything actually good or original coming out. The level design was shit, the scripting was shit, and I don't think most people modding even knew what game design was.
I still remember PewDiePie apologizing publicly on the forums about this, though it's a shame he stopped playing CS' - though I never found his fans contributing to the community, at least it meant there was interest in the modding scene, there's very little now by comparison.

Yes that's his name. I agree, he had trouble compromising and seeing things from other peoples perspective but as long as you treated him with respect you could have interesting debates with him even though his opinions usually were very extreme. A lot of users had a very hostile attitude towards him, it was very sad to see.

Oh yeah, the pewds crisis, I remember that. But at least, I didn't encounter someone as annoying as the recent ones I've met up with. That might be, because I was paying attention to my own works primarly.
I don't see those days coming, fortunately pewds gave it a rest, and he rarely plays Amnesia related stuff these days. But there's a risk for it to repeat, lurking with the Soma and its custom stories, though I believe it's rahter low.

I remember that i was a idiot and bashing myself, that was from when i joined the forums to after i was unbanned i think, bad times for me.

I am now much more mature.

I don't even know when the pewdiepie era started, i don't know if i joined the forums at the late pewdiepie era. Or after the era. I don't know about other eras since 2006.

There was a mod that I downloaded the other day which seemed normal at first but after like three levels the developer must have given it to like his little brother because it was suddenly pumped full of PewDiePie shit
