RE: AAMFP GAMEPLAY - Warning: PewDiePie
He doesn't exactly "deal" with the encounter so I wouldn't say it was all that revealing in that regard. His silliness overrides the experience as usual. The damn thing is almost on top of him.

I'm not suggesting he did deal with the encounter, his video spoils a couple of encounters from what I have read and just by showing that much footage it shows us what we should expect and how we will deal with it.

RE: AAMFP GAMEPLAY - Warning: PewDiePie
I haven't actually watched this video at all, and don't know how revealing the video actually is, so take the below with a pinch of salt.
I actually don't see why a lot of people are getting so worked up about this. This could very well be similar to any other game's game devs showing off gameplay footage to their fans. It's always up to the fans if they want a sneak peak look at the game, or they would rather wait until they get to play it themselves, and experience it first-hand.
So really I don't see where a lot of the "Pewdie is spoiling alot!" talk is coming from seeing as what he's doing is akin to a standard gameplay sneak peak video. If you don't wish to be spoiled, then don't watch it, and be wary when you browse the internet.

Well I just want to say when I stumbled upon a screenshot of the monster I was totally unaware that there was video footage of it too. I was bound to find something one way or another and it is because of his video that I saw that image.
The whole 'be wary' and 'don't watch it if you don't want it spoiled' is not a valid response; it's not just on the forums or youtube, it's everywhere and even being wary I have accidentally stumbled upon screenshots.

Yes, I can see where you're coming from, but in that case I have another question for you:
Unless you go see, or play every single video game, or movie right when they release, or before any potentially spoilerish stuff is released, which I highly doubt, how do you deal with not spoiling yourself? What you just said would pretty much apply to every single case in which there's a piece of media you wish to see, but haven't yet, and there are spoilerish stuff already circulating on the web.

Simple, Pewdiepie aint the brightest. He probably doesn't even know the release date himself. =P People that watch Pewdie are just weaklings that aren't capable of mastering their own psyche.
Those people wont play but rather watch another weakling act like he is scared and isn't just trolling (I mean really I might have senses of stone but I've never ever screamed like an idiot)
How hard is playing as intended, really I mean the fact that he cuts his videos and trolls means he can't be taken serious.
For FG's information Pewdie is a lot of free press but his viewers certainly ain't the people that will buy the game as they can't handle it in the first place.
This all coming from a person that saw one of his friend watch a video of him once.

Instead of a video review of the game with his dumb shrieking commentary that will obviously spread all over the internet, why not just a written blog post? Yeah he makes money off his videos but a blog post would be a much better way to review a game and not spoil the scenes.
So that way people who don't like PDP won't have to dislike him more for his puerile attempts at being funny and spoiling experiences that people like me have waited nearly 2 years to enjoy on their own. Should've been a NDA in place.
For everything I have datasheets and reference prints on that isn't to be released there is a mutual NDA in place.

You make a good point; however, what I'm getting to is it annoys me that this 'snippet' of footage was released so damn soon, why two weeks before release - I can understand the marketing idea behind it - but what I can't understand is why so soon. It would make sense to release this footage at least a day or two before release so you don't have this gap before playing the game for yourself and so there's a chance to experience an encounter on your own.
So yes we have spoilerish content circulating the web two weeks prior to the release date, it doesn't make sense to me at all... All of this silence and all of this hush hush business about the development and then out of no where all of this content before we've had a chance to discover these things for ourselves; it's not a good feeling.
