¡Hi!

I am playing Amnesia The Dark Descent on Debian 8 Jessie (via Steam) with a 8 core AMD cpu, a GeForce GTX 650 ti with privative drivers (not compiled by my but with those who are in the repositories 340.46-6), 4 GB of RAM and a lot of hard disk space, and, like I've said int the subject, the game randomly closes when has to load a new area or when I'm going to save.

Exact the same problem Ubuntu 14.04 64bit machine.
To pay for a game that in almost every area change or attempt to save the game crashes, is not funny.
Pls fix that problem

Yeah. Sounds like you're using the 1.3 update (log does report ver 1.2 though). I reverted back to 1.2 because of this issue. Version 1.2 is so stable for me, it survived two distro upgrades.

If you guys can't get your hands on v1.2, then the best thing to do is just sit back and wait for the next patch. Not ideal, but the FG guys are aware of the issue.

The cause has been found and fixed, we should have the final 1.3.1 update out as soon as we finished testing and packing for all platforms.

I have seen that the Humble Bundle version was updated the ten february. Does it means that the game has been patched or that update is independent from the patch? And if it has been patched, is the Steam version patched too?
