And check Luis Rodero latest tweet :Luis Rodero @luisrodero
12h 3 years... that's a quite a while''
This seems to me like he is reflecting about a finished work.
And of course this will come to PC, anything else would be completely insane, and it would be one of the greatest betrayals since Judas and Brutus | |

If the file recovery progress rate stays the same, all the teasers will be released in the next 6 weeks. Releasing so many teasers in a few weeks a year or even a half before the game comes out sounds a bit odd, so maybe this is closer than we think.
Plus the Luis Rodero tweet sounds exactly like the game is about to be finished.

Oooh boy oh boy oh boy ..

Well at least it sounds better than getting two trailers (a teaser and a trailer) for an FG horror game than that.

SOMA is now in developement since 3 years plus they are already 11 (?) people working on it. Amnesia was only made by 6 (?) people and finished after 2 years. Penumbra Black Plague was made by 4 or 5 (?) people and finished in 1 year. So I think, SOMA is about 80-90% ready. But as we know, even the polishing could be 6 months (AAMFP).
I just hope it's coming for PC, because I will not buy a console just to play this game!

Valve time.
Reading the platform: since Sony mentioned it on PlayStation tweeter I guess it is fairly obvious that the game is coming on PS4 (and *may be* as backport for ps3 but doubt that). The only question remains - will it be first-party (exclusive release, but it does not exclude other platform release "later") or third party (parallel release/release after PC version).
True, but bear in mind that AAMPF was barely two years in development. Considering Soma, and the fact they started the massive teaser campaing, they surely have a product that is more and less nearing it's end.

AMFP was a completely different story.

Umm...
I wasn't talking a delay, though. I was talking about the release date. The original poster mentioned that the release date is "close" (possibly he meant very early Q1 of 2014) an I pointed out that that it is not exactly true and most likely isn't. This is just first PR campaign and ARG and there could be more (like with AMFP).

Besides, we know that FG wanted to take their time with this game to avoid rushing like Amnesia.

Hell yes.
Please bring back the voice-bassoon! It was a super haunting effect in TDD. After all, with one Reed revealed, why not bring in a second one? Then there would be two reeds. You could even say it'll be a double reed.

...I'll go back to my hole now. ._.

Would you calm down? Sheesh. You bring this up in every post here. Why the hell do you think Frictional would make a console exclusive? Come on Googol...

Well, I took some time to go to Google and look up what SOMA is and I found the wikipedia entry for SOMA: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soma
It seems to talk about it being a type of food or drink from a plant related to Hinduism and is used in rituals and other religious occasions.

 Somehow I think that's a coincidence.

I think SOMA is initials for something, not a word itself. That description feels WAAY off.
