I saw the article. Loving the first image - is that concept art or ingame footage, because it looks very Gigeresque! Reminds me of the Derelict craft from Alien.

What this game is going to be is quite obvious.

The same reason why bands record and release eps, to make sure they put stuff out that can be discussed, mentioned and overall talked about in the media.

This same reason is old fashioned and predictable. David Bowie spent 10 years away from making recordings and when he came back suddenly in January announcing a new record, ready to be released within 2 months, it was BANG, with capital letters. It had a ***lot*** more impact than any EP or "filler" thing could have.

In this case, the the game being announced for 2015, it just killed any curiosity I had right now. I don't want to know anything else about it, since it is SO freaking early. And if, for any reason, they postpone the release date, I will be very very pissed for making me waiting even longer.

AAMFP was recently released, I cannot for the life of me comprehend why they rushed this announcement of the new game. Perhaps so people that didn't like AAMFP could easily forget their critics, so they can spend more time anticipating the next game instead of criticizing the "old" one. ;-)

Or perhaps Sony demanded, since it will be console exclusive for the PS4, heheh. :-D

He's David Bowie though. He's HUGE. He can do that. FG are ''big'' for independent developers but they still need to put stuff out. Not every developer/band is as big as Bowie.

Valve on other hand, can just announce HL3 any day, without any hype or anything and the internet will blow up.

This is going to be interesting

Also, Case #2656 ___tank will probably be the next file. You can see it in the backdrop here:

We already seen #2656, it is Vivarium, first teaser video.

Maybe Vivarium becomes a tank? :3

Although to be serious, that text is definitely formatted the same as the entries, so it has to have been in relation to them. It's probably not part of Vivarium's designation since there's a blank area between them, but it is either an entry or a removed entry...

Also, might the Files page be adjusted to look more like the ARG's file page? The plain text buttons on the page feel too... simple. x-x

New blog entry at FG blog: SOMA Officially Revealed.

When I read all these caveats about the teaser trailer not being an actual representation of the game, I can't help thinking of all the discussions about how misleading the AMFP trailers were. So, someone has learnt something out of all of the last events?
