How will death work in this game? I'm really not a fan of Amnesia's execution here, where death actually makes the game easier and less frightening by letting you respawn with the monster gone and your progress saved.

As with the 'Shock series, there can easily be an in-universe explanation for why your protagonist can respawn. I know that perma-death is too absurd to accept for a long game, but Amnesia's handling of death isn't good for handling suspense.
