RE: The Ultimate SOMA Discussion Thread
Well, modding will surely become a lot more varied and complex compared to TDD. I think the new enemy types will also make for an interesting change, compared to the simple player-hunting AI and path node patrolling in TDD.

RE: The Ultimate SOMA Discussion Thread
In a preview of an upcoming interview with Thomas, he's asked about the game running at 1080p/60fps on the PS4:
Thomas Grip Wrote:“Actually, we will probably be doing 1080p and 30fps,” Thomas said to GamingBolt. “We have the game running at 60fps in a lot of the game, but there are still some places where we have issues, so 30fps is probably what we will target instead. Since the game is so slow moving, I do not feel it makes that much of a difference. Still not decided though, we have to see what more we can optimize.”

SOMA is now in Pre-Beta:

Thomas Wrote:The game's current state, pre-Beta, is a milestone in preparation for the proper Beta, basically the full game without the final polish, which will happen a few months into next year.
And here's a gorgeous new screenshot:

Awesome, I'm glad the development seems a lot more stable than what it was for AAMFP.
