Soma wont start, please help

Hello, i hope someone can help me!

Soma just suddenly wont start. I have played for about 6 ours, but then a few ours after i played the last time it wont start up. It only show a warning text, following: Terminated Unexpectedly. What can this be?

Sorry about this. I just updated the steam build again, are you still getting this after running "Verify Integrity of Game Cache"?

Its working again, i dont know why, but it seems to that i have to have the steam window on fullscreen or large mode and then the game works perfectly. Thanks anyway mate!

Might've been the update that fixed it, because there was one just an hour or two ago.

Yes perhaps, but the strange thing is that it didnt worked in "tiny" screen mode even after the update, i had to start it in large mode. 2015 and i still don't understand the computers behavior.

so, mine was fixed and then there was just another update and it no longer starts.

I suddenly started having launch problems with SOMA as well. It was working fine yesterday on my 3.4GHz 27 inch late 2012 iMac with 16GB RAM and 2GB GTX680MX & Mavericks 10.9.5. But today it's immediatly closing and the only clue i have is..

In console.

I tried verifying the game files with Steam before even coming here. It said they where all validated and didn't make a difference.

I am having the same problem with my macbook. It was running fine until the latest update. Now upon startup I get "Soma quit unexpectedly". I verified the integrity of the cache as well.
I don't know a lot about computers, so I am just going to wait until another update comes and cross my fingers.

Is it possible to revert to the game before the patch in Steam somehow? All of my issues came with the patch...

Sorry about this, I've reverted the live build to before our attempt to fix some release issues. If the live build doesn't work for you then I'd recommend trying out the [public_beta] version of the game that has a newer version that may fix additional issues.
