RE: SOMA Screenshot Thread

Thanks GrAVit Smile All these are originally captured at 5-6k resolution. Because Hpl3 is a new game engine to me, i couldnt find a way to use the programs i normally use (srwe, wbg, ect) to push crazy high resolutions. So i was limited to what my tv would allow (5k at 30fps, 6k at 15fps). I used reshade to adjust bloom, contrast, exposure, saturation and anti-aliasing, depending on the area/screenshot. I also used it to actually capture the image.

Nautilus, these shots are gorgeous, so glad you captured the abyss worm. I'm so jealous you got to actually see the game played at levels like that haha, keep it up, wish i could put my ones from PS4 up here (i know it's vastly inferior, but they still turn out quite pretty)

RE: SOMA Screenshot Thread

I have to agree WALP, they did a great job.

Thanks SineDeus. Smile There was so much interesting stuff to look at, i pretty much took shots of the entire game. lol On one hand, it is really nice to see a game at such a high resolution. The added clarity brings out so many details and helps with the aliasing. But on the other hand, you often have to play the game at really low fps (even with a powerful pc) so it becomes pretty stuttery and blurry as you move around. Soma wasnt bad, i got around 30fps most of the time. Games like the Witcher 3 and Arkham Knight bring my system to its knees at 5-6k though. I ended up getting 10-15fps in them. Im sure your screenshots would be awesome. I saw Soma running on a ps4 and it looked quite good on there.
