I am trying to jump the crates in L2 and get to the platform which goes up/down but the crates running east/west seem too far away to jump on and I keep falling. Any suggestions please

Hold shift while running and then jump.

I just did that part a few days ago (first time, new player)

I meant I'm on platform which goes up and down and trying to jump to the crate going east/west. I'll try again

I know which part you mean. You just have to run (with shift) and jump, like Bek said.
