Possible Bug: Cannot Get Vaccine in the Morgue (Cistern)

Hi, even if this post is pretty old, a friend of mine came to that part aswell, and it was bugged.

I think the reason for it to bug is, that you don't combine needle + copper tube in the inverntory and then stick it it, but stick the tube in the skull, and then the needle seperate. Not sure, because he loaded a safe file and combined them then, and it worked.

I have the same bug. Even if i load a save before "the morgue" and i assemble the differents elements in the inventory or on the corps.

Jens, I did a video to show the problem. And yes, it's really a bug!
When you drill the hole into the head and during this event you click a few times left mouse button, you will be no longer avaiable to inject the blood after putting the tube in.

Alright, I was able to replicate it and applied a temporary fix.

* Download the attachment and copy the file 19_morgue.hps to maps/main/ch2 directory overwriting the previous one.

The save included is to quick test the fix since it's right before drilling the head with all tools acquired. Don't use this save to advance more in the game.

Note: The fix I applied just avoids the problem. The true cause was not found because it requires more time and the level editor crashes when opening the morgue so it's not making it easy for me. Jens should be able to find it right away though.

At least it's already fixed (temporarily). Hopefully anyone that had the same problem do this.

Hmm, first time I test the fix it seemed to work perfectly, but I tested it some more and then it did no longer work for me.

We can just hope that FG will release a further Amnesia update.
I think, there is a list of some other bugs found since patch 1.2.

But let's be patient, they have enough work now with AMFP and their own game.

What do you mean it stopped working after some time? What did you do exactly?

I didn't use the level.hps, I just use the fixed savegame (which is already a clone of the fixed level).

First time I tried and it worked perfectly, I was able to interact the injection. But I tested again and again. But now it didn't work any longer.

I will now try with the level file.

OK it works now. Thanks for the workaround, but still waiting for an official fix.
