For a very low end graphics card you should use 800*600 probably or lower, and no shadows or ssao turned on. Also make sure to turn off aero and to not force any settings with the nvidia control panel, like fsaa.

Not sure if you know this or not or could point me in the direction of finding the answer.

According to Compaq, the model PC I have comes with the Integrated graphics using nVidia GeForce 6150SE

But it says that is also supports PCI Express x16 graphics cards

Is there one of those out there that is going to be any better at running this game?

As far as I can see you have not actually installed any drivers. According to the log, the driver version is old and should be updated.

Download the latest drivers from Nvidia.com (even if it says u have latest, which I am however not sure it can tell), uninstall the current display, reboot, install the one you downloaded, reboot and try again.
