HELP LEVEL EDITOR

HELP LEVEL EDITOR

HI! help!! when i use level editor on windows 7 ultimate 64 bit it crashes the whole time! its not when i try to start it, because i can use it for a time but then it just crashes!

and i had XP for a week ago and thats when i started on my custom story and then i moved on to windows 7 ultimate 64bit and i saved my map and CFG and those stuffs, and i extracted level editor and those stuffs into the redist folder, i didnt bought the game on steam. and it worked good on xp!

Gee Idk mate, maybe because the editor isn't meant to work on 64 bit

Take my advice and go back to 32 bit

Editor works fine with Windows 7 64 bit.

If you go to MyDocuments/HPL2, there's a file called LevelEditor.log, can you open it with notepad and post it?

Are you kidding? The Level Editor and everything else for the editor package works for me and I have Windows 7, 64-bit and I also did not buy A:TDD on Steam. I'm not sure what to tell you but to take everything from the editor package out of your Amnesia root folder, go to the wiki and make sure to download it for Windows. Put the contents of the zip file into your amnesia folder.

Mine is: Computer\OS(CSmile\Program Files(x86)\Amnesia - The Dark Descent\redist

Make sure that the contents are in the redist folder only, if you are not a Steam user for the game.
