I'm having a problem with the HPL2 editing suite. Every time I fire up the HPL Level Editor there is just a black box with the title Unnamped Map. I have to end the process to get rid of this as there isn't any other way of exiting.
Info:
- Worked before downloading the newest Intel HD Graphics drivers (Amnesia is now supported on my Intel card)
- Either have a working Level Editor and black screen Amnesia, or working Amnesia and black screen editor.
- Done a full reinstall of Amnesia
- Redownloaded the HPL editing suite and put everything in the redist folder.
- Uninstalled/reinstalled my Intel HD Graphics drivers.
- hpl.log in my redist folder tells me I it cannot find MainEditorSettings.cfg and LevelEditor.cfg

I'm using an Intel card, but recent updated drivers have allowed me to play it, with low FPS.
But the editor worked a month or two ago before these drivers allowed me to play Amnesia. I was fiddling with the tools and making rooms and such, so they did work. I don't know why they don't now.
Make sure you run the editor as an Administrator if you are using Vista/7. You should also do a clean installation of Amnesia again since it seems you messed with some files needed for the editor to run. You should also delete the folder Amnesia from Documents folder but before you do that, make sure to keep a backup of your saves because there are stored all your save games and settings.
Yes, that must be a weird problem with Intel's current drivers. I just tried running the editors on a laptop with Intel HD Graphics and received the same problem as you.
The editors were working fine with previous drivers, don't know why they aren't now.
So it's just my luck that they release a driver that lets you play the game, but it breaks the usage of the editor somehow. Any suggestions on how to get around this?
