Game will not launch??

can you attach me here the file main_init.cfg that is said to cause the problem? Try running the game as administrator by the way

Running as administrator does the same thing.

It wont let me attach the file, even when copy and pasting whats in it to a notepad. Nvm, I think I got it attached right

It looks just fine. Go to:

C:\Users\-YOUR-USER-NAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\

and delete the folder Amnesia - The Dark Descent or whatever it is called.

There is no Amnesia folder in there. Same rout up to virtualstore but went to Windows\System32 and there is a folder in system32, Hpl.log

"ERROR: Unable to open config file 'config/main_init.cfg'! Invalid filepointer returned!"

that is added to the top of the log.

after trying to run Amnesia.exe (not from the desktop sortcut - this is for launcher.exe) attach us again the file HPL.log found under Documents\Amnesia\Main folder.

Did exactly that and this is what I get, same thing as before. nothing shows up on it.

try renaming the folder Amnesia at Documents to Amnesia-OLD and see if that changes anything(you will have to enter serial again as well settings - do not delete the folder since the saves are in there)
