				I've tried many times but I'm not able to cancel it. Could it be coming from the HP Tools partition? Or maybe the Recovery partition? Could it be some sort of auto install from one of those?

				Remove the driver again the same way and remove the internet cable. Restart, it should not find the drivers again. If that doesn't work then right click Computer>Properties, at the left click Advanced, select the Hardware tab, go to Windows Update settings and select to never check for updates. Both options have to do with internet connection though.
