I looked at these screenshots a few days ago and it seems they have been redone.all of them are now brighter, which is especially visible in the first image where most of the backrground was dark.
most of the images also include new models now.

Oh yes, they look vastly different from the trailer now! Ha! So much for "Oh noes, they're reusing all the old assets"
It also seems to me as if they were even darker in tone now than the trailer and early concepts - not in terms of lighting, but more in terms of the overall mood. I like that.

Does anyone remember date when first electricity-powered streetlight was introduced in Britain? Wasn't it around 18xx?

"The first street in the UK to be lit by electric light was Mosley Street, in Newcastle upon Tyne. The street was lit by Joseph Swan's incandescent lamp on the 3rd February, 1879" -Wikipedia

Well that fits perfectly then, if the story is set in 1899...I like those early electric contraptions. Always reminds me of the Thief - setting. Also I don't think thechineseroom would make mistakes with historical accuracy (unless they were necessary for dramatic purposes) - didn't they even pay attention to which sorts of ground plants could be found on the Hebridean Islands and which not when they made Dear Esther? | |
