Where exactly did the "one" joke even come from? I seem to recall it being slightly humorous when it debuted but in hindsight it really is just painful.

EDIT: Speaking of pain - why exactly do people complain about wisdom tooth removals so much? I just had one removed a few days ago and while it was horrifying while it was going on and painful for like an hour it isn't a big deal. Certainly not so painful that it renders one completely paralyzed spitting up blood for a week. I guess it depends on the person but I don't really get it…

I think it depends on the person. I've had friends with varied experiences on the subject with some saying it's horrible, and others saying it's just fine.

must wisdom teeth always be removed ? i find this whole wisdom tooth thing weird, everyone talks about it on the internet like "OMG wisdom tooth, it has to be removed it hurts like hell you can die, blablabla"

While no one mentions about it in RL, atleast those people that i know. Asked my older bro and parents about it and they were like "Oh, nothing special just a tooth that starts growing" and i've never heard about someone IRL getting it removed.
