Blue Haze Problem

Its not a matter of gamma settings, everybody is experiencing this "problem" (which is not really one, more like an artistic choice but i really dont like it). I've been chatting with someone on steam which has found a solution to disable it, but it doesn't seem to work with me unfortunately

there are some comparative screenshots now, thats a great thing.

That solution worked for me BUT I have to re-do it every time I enter a new level. The game autosaves a new file every time you enter a new level.

Now, I don't mind the fog or filter as an artistic choice (works well at times) but it hurt my eyes and I can't play for long, and I'm also left with a headache after I quit.

I hope for a option to turn it on/off.

$16 and everything is blue, I waited for one year this game and everything is blue...

So my game have been crashing randomly through out the whole time playing. I have managed to get 8hours play time just because I have to replay stuff over and over again.

But what I did in the end was after a while I exit and saved my game so if it would crash atleast I wont lose my data. But doing this technique corresponded in something else.

Now my game is all blur when insanity events kicks in, I can't see JACKSHIT!

And the game has this awful bluetint effect which is HORRIBLE!

I have played Amnesia DD for about 500+ hours and NEVER had this problem.
I really don't think it's my computer but hey, here's my specs:

i7 3820 3,60Ghz
Nvidia Geforce GTX680
1800Mhz 16GB RAM
MSI motherboard 2011 socket

I got lastest drivers for all my hardware.

Looking in my HPL.log I see a shitload of errors which I guess is the problem. Which I cant add without RAR because it's larger than 100 kilobytes(360kb)

Can you verify game cache files via Steam?

Instructions:


1. Completely exit Steam
2. Right-click on the shortcut which you use to launch Steam
3. Select "Run as Administrator"
4. Launch Steam again.
5. Load Steam
6. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
7. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache... button.
9. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.
10. Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit.

I have removed the option with "Run as Administrator" with "User Account Control Settings"
So there's no need to run as adminstrator cause I'm always admin.
I did try what you just said just incase, but yeah, no luck there.

If I understand correctly you have the blue haze issue so merged.

Hey guys!

I'm getting some serious issues with that blue hue and it's really ruining the game for me right now. I've seen other people posting screenshots of varying amounts of blue and I think I got screwed a bit because I can barely see anything :\ Hope this gets fixed soon!

That might be your GPU's fault.

EDIT: You can also provide some information about your PC, such as: operating system, CPU, GPU, RAM. You should also attach the file HPL.log found under Documents\Amnesia\Pig folder

Can we get official statement if it's going to removed or at least option added to disable it?
