Okay. All the screenshot looks pretty empty. Especially the archives. Try to put some stuff.
The mess hall looks fine, but why did you name it mess hall since it's really all tidy ?
The bedroom looks fine. And so is the front hall.

All of the rooms are very empty and not well detailed, they all lack decals. The light blends unnaturally - you'll need a very low boxlight (0.01, 0.01, 0.01) covering entire map. And archives has nothing in it.. so.. In the Archives, the books are in the back. I'm just showing the lighting.

As for the Mess Hall,

Yup, Wikipedia does give everything.

The billboards need to be a lot more faint, and the light wouldn't be enough to light up entire room surely? Also, use very large pointlights to simulate light bounce but with very low values.
Oh yeah. Forgot about the natural light thingy. Thank you for telling him.

How do you make billboards to faint? because i thought that can only be done with lights. Oh and colors do blend well when i put that black box light.

Ill accept the rock and white structured waterfall, but I think ill stick to the atmosphere design personally. But thank you for the tips for the mountains and the waterfall.

honestly jssjr if those are the only criticisms hes giving you then that's a fair indication that your screenshots are fucking rad
That's some gorgeous architecture, great use of the amnesia castlebase assets. About time we saw a different kind of castle!

There is nothing wrong with design philosophies. What I see in my eyes looks beautiful, but to another it looks bad or needs to be tweaked. "The brain is a vary big place, in a vary small space." - Carl Sagan.
Also thank you Streetboat for liking the castle design.

I can only push the limit with HPL2 with my own brain's imagination. Criticism helps to get another 3rd person perspective and insightful tips. If only HPL2 had terrain editor. While I could go to Mya and model it, but it would be too much work for me, and im not being lazy, I just have limited time on my hands now of days.
