I beg your pardon, my friend, Unreal/UT series -- except Unreal 2 -- is a child of Epic Megagames.

Midway worked as a publisher for and worked in unison with Epic Games, with the exception of UT2. They also worked on Unreal Championship, but that's a different story.

Midway worked in unison with Epic to make Unreal Tournament 1. They worked as a partner and publisher in the later series. I also forget that Midway is an American company that seldom reaches out of borders to create a game. That was my bad.

Publisher is not a developer and has nothing to do with actual game developing process. It is like saying Steam made Amnesia as well. There is indeed cases when publisher has a lot of impact on developing process, mostly when they fund the whole idea and concept of a game developer showed to them, but that is not the case with Epic (they always were making what they wanted even tho they aren't quite fit the term independent) and Frictional.

So no, Midway has nothing to do with unreal series. At all.

Did I hear that there is a game coming called, "A Machine for Pugs"? I don't really like dogs, but if I have to have an automatic walking game for dogs, I guess it's an O.K. idea. I don't really want to purchase a game for a dog I don't have though, you know?
