I purchased Amnesia yesterday, and LOVE it!

Anyway, the problem:

The game works fine (albeit a little slow, but that's my integrated graphics fault) until I reach the Archives map.

It works fine for a bit, but then I reach a point where you fall to the floor and Daniel says stuff like 'I saw a blue light, and I stuggled to get to it' or something.

After this, my screen just goes black. I can still use the in-game steam browser and push/quit the game, but the game itself (not the steam browser, monitor or pause menu) stay black. Help? Huh

I am actually also really curious about this issue. I have searched through the forums but the only thing I can find is to lower the graphics and make sure that the card is updated using the 'have disk' method. I have done all of that, but still get stuck with a black screen on that part with the blue light.

Attached my hpl as well.

EDIT:
So after more looking around the forums, it seems that the only thing left to do is to skip that part. Playing through it on the lowest graphics didn't work.

It is possible you also have to load an earlier save from before you first entered the archives for it to work.
