Amnesia error

Hi all!
(Probably) this question is useless i think...
I have an acer buyed in 2007
It have: OpenGL 1.5
Intel Celeron
Windows XP home edition
1 GB RAM

I tryed the demo to see if ADK can run on my pc and it crashes.

There's no way to play Amnesia? Probably you say me "no","in fact,this question is useless" but i want really play this game.

I don't like italians because everytime they win a football match against germany ;-)
But I really like their cars (Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pagani, Fioravanti etc.)
Hehe, but now back to topic.

I think you need a new computer. Amnesia isn't compatible with that slow hardware and when it would be possible to start the game, it wouldn't be a good experience at all. But I'm sure the Penumbra Collection should be able to run. Do you already know that games? Penumbra is at least so good as Amnesia, it's also made by Frictional Games.

But for Amnesia, I recommend to buy a new computer. It's absolutely worth it.
The game is amazing and there are even some other good games you would be able to play when have a new computer. Costs only 500 Euros, that's enough.

I think there is no way to get Amnesia working on your hardware.

I found a good computer for you, it's from a german shop, but really good power for little money.

you need OpenGL 2.1, graphics card is not supported

Oh, Amnesia is made for OpenGL 2.1?
I hope they will do their next game for OpenGL 4.2 - that's the latest version as I know.
I think that would be improve the graphics.

It might improve the graphics, but they would GREATLY need to upgrade the engines they use. FG isn't an AAA producer, so I wouldn't count on them upgrading the engine that much.

Also, graphics aren't everything :p

FG is aiming at a big audience with low-end hardware. They depend on that. That's why most probably their next game will be a DirectX one. Let's face it, it is more popular and compatible with more gpu's.
