Help to choose some options in mah plot.
I've run to a little confusing issue with my novel.
There's options to continue story and these options differs from each others drastically.
There are 3 options:
1. Let the main protagonist die in the middle in order to change him/her.
2. Let the protagonist live.
3. Let the protagonist die, but later he/she gets revived from death.
I personally have considered option 3, but i think it's little cheap.
I need your help to choose the most optimum option, the option you would
admire the best.
Thanks in advance.

I am no expert but I believe that there is no "better option". It depends on what you want to do with the plot.
•I have found the answer to the universe and everything, but this sign is too small to contain it.

Agreed. It's not what you do, it's how you execute the idea.

Agreed. It's not what you do, it's how you execute the idea. But It's so damn hard to choose at this point. Just pick up one option. The thing you would feel most appealing. I want to see which one majority picks.
Every option is fine by me, they don't ruin the story overall, but changes the flow a bit.

Letting him live is the best IMO...
He survived but he'll have to live with the pain...
Trying is the first step to success.

We don't know the backstory to what may lead to the death of your protagonist, so making a decision just for the sake of it won't do your novel any good!

Good point, but i think it would end up just fine, besides my character cast is vast, so killing one guy shouldn't ruin the whole novel.

Dont prethink it when it comes down to something like this, Just keep writing, More often then naught your characters will choose for you.

Keep writing when i can't choose the best way? If i had written how i orginally intended to, the story would have been something else which in the end would have just let a cheap taste in my mouth. I am glad this poll has straightended that out and proven that option to be unnecessary.
