Amnesia serial trouble

Hi. So I got amnesia about a year ago, and had a lot of fun with it. But last month, I had a...disagreement, with my mother, she kicked me out. All I have now is my laptop, and a handful of games, including amnesia. Trouble is, though I have the disc, I don't have the case, and thus don't have the serial number. I looked online for one, but none of those worked. I bought the game, I have the disk, but since the case is at my mothers, I don't have the serial number and I can't play. What do I do?

If it's the retail package the key can only be found at the box. Any other non-legal ways to get a key cannot be discussed here even if you had bought it.

No, I can't go retrieve it. my mom's thrown away most of my stuff anyway, so it's probably at a dump somewhere by now.
