RE: Random Stuff
Me? I don't know, write as much as you feel like, take advantage of your inspiration and try to find new bursts of motivation once you're running low on stuff to write. I'm currently making a game and I can tell you, the hardest thing to do is not to make it, it's to maintain inspiration and motivation, I reckon it's the same when writing novels.
Do whatever you do that inspires you, for me it's often music that lifts my spirit of give me new ideas, sometimes it helps to just relax, some of my best ideas come when I'm doing absolutely nothing related to work, like when I try to sleep.

My advice to write a story is think it in a nutshell. Size everything: Places,
persons, themes, ideas to one pile and start writing from the basis. You can even change something during wrting process if the orginal thing wasn't appealing. But personally best advice i've been given is: Write, don't
stop to think unneccesary things, never think negatively about the work, just write. Even if the novel ends up bad. You can always be proud that you wrote a novel.

That's an interesting approach, though for me it takes a significant amount of time to create the assets and put them together that I, most of the time, think over my decisions about the game as I go on. It's a bit sad like that when doing it all alone that I can't have that sort of creative flow that you describe. But then again I think it also depends on what kind of media you're writing for whether it's important to perfect your writing or not.

That face, Those eyes, Those fucking eyes.
This flawless image really must be enjoyed in full size, so I suggest opening it in a new tab.

So yeah, it takes time. And the writing process can be even longer.
I totally agree with you. inspiration and uniqueness are the hardest affairs.
I get the sparks for those when i just completely start thinking some random things which i get from some kind of real life situation or i've completey created it in my mind, and just start to make it more propriate to the story.
