Penumbra Black Plague Black Screen on Start up

I recently got the Penumbra pack from Steam, I played through Overture and it worked great! However, when I got to Black Plague I had this issue which I am unable to solve. Basically what occurs is that when I start up the game, the screen just goes black and blank with nothing appearing. I've left the game running for a few minutes just to see if it loading but it remains on the black screen, nothing pops up. This is strange because I only have this issue with Black Plague. I tried Requiem and it loads perfectly fine.

System Info:
Windows 7 64-bit
6GB RAM
Intel Core i7 @ 3.07 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 SE ~4GB
1920x1080 Display

Check integrity of the cache and see if that helps.

Make sure you have the latest gpu drivers installed:

Also your gpu is 1GB by the way, not 4. That's impossible.

I got it to show up a screen but now whenever I launch it, it crashes with this message:
penumbra.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in module
penumbra.exe at 0023:004EB5B2
Steam also says to put in a CD-Key when the game asks for it but it never pops up asking for it.

e: Again I only have this error message pop-up for Black Plague, Requiem and Overture work perfectly fine.

e: NVM, I managed to fix the error I was getting. I deleted settings.cfg and the game works fine now, thanks for the help everyone.
