Penumbra will not start...

Hi, so I bought the Penumbra Collection and went to play it on my PC but it won't start! The installation went all good, I think, but when I click to play Penumbra an 'SDL_app' window appears with a white screen, then my screen flickers black and nothing happens... apart from my comp freezing.

Details:
- Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium
- AMD Radeon HD 6450 graphics card
- And yes I meet above the minimum requirements for this game
- I have installed OpenAL and this game is patched to 1.1 by default

I have read through almost every thread on these forums and NOTHING has worked... I've tried re-installing, uninstalling, moving directories, fullscreen, windowed, editing the default_config, all that stuff but nothing works! PLEASE PLEASE help as I will be mad if I find out I just wasted my money Angry

make sure you have the latest amd drivers installed: http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/P...n7-64.aspx

I have the latest graphics and sound drivers installed already

If you bought it through steam do a file integrity check otherwise reinstall it. If it still doesn't work attach us here the hpl.log file.

I have the retail version, my hpl.log file is in my original post

Reinstall the game, try to launch it and if it fails again attach me the hpl.log file again from Documents.

...I have already said I uninstalled and reinstalled the game over and over and I just said my hpl.log is in my original post

Can somebody else help me please??

run the game and attach it again. The previous one seems to be incomplete

Thats what shows up in the text file, it doesn't continue from there for some reason Confused

I load the game in 1024 x 768 resolution, I even tried to lower it, but the same problem keeps happening
