EDIT: ALSO FG SHOULD SCRAP OSWALD MANDUS, NEW MAIN CHARACTER'S NAME IS JENNIFER LAWRENCE

AAMFP would be the biggest selling game of all time if Jennifer Lawrence was the protagonist... *drools*

There's a kid in the new Amnesia trailer (which you're all aware of) I think he is maybe a worker in the factory, as kids back in the industrial revolution were hired off as factory workers.

Wow, is this official? Very intriguing.

I do wonder at which part(s) of the game will take us outside the factory. I am starting to doubt it will be in the start of the game due to the following quote:

Quote:As he struggles to his feet, somewhere beneath him, an engine splutters, coughs, roars into life...

Which sounds like Oswald lives or sleeps in the factory. Then again, I do not think it takes long before he goes outside. I believe that the outside part(s) happen before the game comes to life, as in before anything much starts to happen, just like The Dark Descent and the section where you find the Wine Cellar key.

Why would wealthy industrial tycoon live in swine-stinking factory? I think he lives in mansion, safe distance from his factory.

I'm sure that we'll get fresh air more often than just at the beginning of the game... Some interview told that player will use streets to move between different locations. So I highly doubt that he'll just wake up and spend rest of the game inside his factory.

So he is a Batman?

I think he is Oswald's son

Possibly. Or he could even be a flashback of Oswald as a child.

I'd certainly be very intrigued if the new setting and story went more into the direction of "gritty realism" instead of "scary fairytale", if you know what I mean Wink Supernatural elemts have been a core elemt of horror for so long, but mere human cruelty has it's very own brand of horror that I feel is too rarely explored in horror games.

Child workers would be a very nice touch I think. It would paint a much more interesting and ambiguous picture of Oswald as a character, than every cartoonishly evil trait like "omg he's turning people into pig monsters" ever could.
