I still don't know what the error is. I need you to play the game until it crashes and then attach me the HPL.log Amnesia file again.

Hello again and great news. As I was browsing my Program Files folder, I noticed OpenAL. Unsure of what it was I opened it and ran the .exe. After a while I remembered it having something to do with Amnesia/Penumbra. After the 1 second install, it said "Did not install correctly, reinstall with recommended settings?" I clicked yes and then it installed again but did not pop up with the same thing. After this I thought, maybe that's the problem. I went to Amnesia and changed it to launch in compatibility with Windows XP (service pack 3) (I have Windows 7 Ultimate). Now it works completely fine. Please post this in the troubleshooting page to help others. You have been a great help, thanks again.
