If you have antivirus or similar, tried to temporarily disabled it?

Yes it's totally disable until restart I also just dropped my sound card as it's been known to have issues I'm running almost nothing right now

Edit: Pluto right, maybe these programs cause issues.

You can look at the background programs from the Windows Task Manager.

No,no. Let's not suggest other programs that might cause issues. Programs like Game Booster etc tend to cause issues from my experience.

I actually own it and tried it and it didnt work anyways... this was last night lol.

EDIT. I am using an outdated catalyst so I'm updating that now and crossing fingers.

I used to have Game Booster in the past for a short period of time. That's why I said it. I'm not trying to prove/show anything or be a boss here. I'm just expressing my limited experience with certain things.

Good. If you can, follow the clean installation guide I mentioned above just to be certain drivers are not the problem.

Then it has to do with some background 3rd-party program/service that causes the game to crash. Some of them are mentioned at the Amnesia Troubleshooting guide, problem A6. Other than that, it's up to the individual to find what program causes this issue. For the purpose of the review (since I guess it's urgent) maybe you can play it on a different computer. It's either that or finding what program is interfering.

again I have nothing running. besides what i need which is steam, and a few gaming profile programs for my gaming peripherals.
